Time to get real about the Empower Network…

Ok, so my previous post - Formerly homeless? Formerly an addict? Sure, I’ll join you in the Empower Network! (and video) was a little light hearted, talking about why the heck I would want to join ‘Dave & Dave,’ the formerly homeless van man & former addict, in the Empower Network….

However today, it’s time to get seriously real…

This is it for me & my family.

As I said in the video – it’s do or die time.

As a father, my first and foremost responsibility is to provide for my family. It’s a primal thing, something that you can’t suppress.  When this is something that you are struggling to do at an acceptable level, it burns inside.

It eats away at your very soul.

The Empower Network is more than just another opportunity to make money for me, it is going to enable me to keep a roof over my family’s head, and without being overly dramatic here, to put food in my children’s mouths.

The Empower Network is going to enable my kids to have presents at Christmas

Beyond the basic needs previously mentioned, my son’s first birthday is days away and Christmas will be here soon. The Empower Network has brought with it the hope that not only will I be able to pay the mortgage this month, but my kids will be able to have a Christmas.

It’s time to go to work.
